Lessons my Daughter Taught Me

My baby is 4 months old! I cannot believe it. I have been MSPI for 2 months?! I have been back to work for 1 month?! That actually feels likes it's been longer. I feel like she's always been a part of our family.

She has taught me some wonderful things in the time she has graced us with her presence. If you stick to something then it is achievable. Our journey with MSPI and GERD shows me that. The difficulty we have had with breastfeeding using the SNS and having to change my diet. This all is evidence that breastfeeding under most difficult circumstances is possible.

She has taught me patience. My first daughter Cadence was such a calm baby, except at the beginning of her life when she like her sister wasn't getting enough nutrition from me. The only issues she had was constipation which was related to the use of formula. I never had to sit up at night holding her as she cried. Every problem she had I could fix for the most part.

Aria is different she cries from a physiological ailment that causes her pain. Something that I cannot do anything about at that moment. It's a helplessness and frustration that I hope other mothers don't have to go through.

She has also taught me that my heart has enough love in it for all of my children unconditionally. I never thought that I could love like I do my first daughter. With having my second my heart just grew to unimaginable proportions. I can't wait to see them both grow.

  1. Both my kids are totally different from each other. But one thing that they have taught me is patience. I used to think that I am the only one with kids so different in their personalities. Glad to know that there are more selling in the same boat
